Why am I itching like crazy?
It started on my scalp. My first thought was “Oh god please not lice!!” I have checked my head several times a day for the last week and there is nothing. No dandruff, no nits, no rash, nothing. Normal scalp. Over the last several days it has started migrating down. My neck, arms, chest, ears, and upper back now itch too, though my scalp is still the worst. Still no rash or visible changes anywhere. It isn’t a normal itching. It’s like a pins-and-needles or a prickly crawling sensation. I haven’t changed anything in the way of soaps, diet, medication. Everything is the same. I just started itching out of nowhere. I’m the only person in my house with it, too. I have had eczema and this is not it. I’m wondering if anyone else has ever had this? Does anyone know if it may be an allergy or reaction or something worse? Thank you in advance.
Edit to add: I don’t take medication at all. And scabies is ruled out too.
I saw this on a show before!
The lady had the SAME thing and it progressed to her having horrible bumps EVERYWHERE. She also said the SAME thing about it. Go to a dermatologist.
If you’re worried, I’d go to a doctors, They can refer you to the place you need to be.
